Tangled Up in Knots - Ari Wright

Violet was at the end of her rope when Atlas, Finn, Ryker, and Gideon came into her life, and watching the woman she became by the end of the book was one of my favorite parts of the story. She starts out broken, unsure of herself, and simply trying to survive. By the end, she's stronger, more confident, and finally beginning to see her own worth. That journey was the heart of the book for me.

As much as I loved Violet, I couldn't decide which of the men stole my heart the most because they each brought something completely different to the relationship.  I loved Violet's journey, but I absolutely loved experiencing every change in the relationship through their eyes too.

Atlas is the definition of Daddy energy. He's protective, steady, dependable, and naturally takes care of everyone around him. Finn is the fun-loving one of the group. He's constantly making jokes and keeping things light, but underneath all that humor are feelings he keeps buried. Watching the way he treated Violet evolve throughout the story absolutely melted my heart.

Ryker was probably the one I wanted to know the most. His unwavering devotion to Violet was beautiful to watch. His world revolved around her, and every action showed just how deeply he cared for her. Then there's Gideon. Out of everyone, he had the most to lose, which made his story especially compelling. I found myself craving his perspective because I wanted to understand everything he was feeling as this pack slowly came together.

What really made this book stand out was how naturally everything evolved. The romance, the friendships, and even the spice all grew together. As trust formed and feelings deepened, the chemistry became more intense, the connections became stronger, and by the end... let's just say some of those later scenes had me saying, "Whoa... okay!" They felt earned because the emotional connection was already there.

The pack itself became my favorite part of the story. On paper, these people shouldn't work together. Their personalities clash, they all carry baggage, and none of them seem like they belong in the same room. Yet somehow they become exactly what the others need. Watching strangers become a family built on trust, protection, laughter, and unconditional acceptance was incredibly satisfying.

By the end, I wasn't just rooting for the romance, I was rooting for the entire pack. Watching every relationship evolve, every wall come down, and every character find where they belonged made this such a rewarding read. I received this as an ARC and am leaving my honest review voluntarily.

Despite all my fears, what just happened didn’t knock my entire world out of orbit.  In fact, I think it may have turned it right-side up.
