Watch Over Me - V.E. Huntley

This book gave us the story of how the wonderful Ricky came into the picture, and I absolutely loved every minute of it. From the moment he arrived, both Luna and Maren were completely all-in on the little guy.

Ricky was such a tiny menace, constantly pushing boundaries and testing limits every chance he got. What made it even better was that as he got older, he absolutely knew what he was doing. The attitude, the personality, and the chaos he brought to every scene made him impossible not to love.

One of my favorite parts of this series continues to be the friendship between Luna and Maren. Their bond is something truly special. They support each other without question, show up when it matters, and genuinely feel like family. The loyalty and love between them adds so much heart to the story.

I also loved getting a deeper look into the sanctuary. Seeing Luna work with different animals was such a wonderful addition. It's clear how much passion she has for what she does, and those moments helped make Aspen Ridge feel even more real.

Even though Ricky was the star of this story, I really enjoyed getting more of Damien's history as well. Hearing about his arrival in Aspen Ridge, how he chose his house, and those first moments of learning about Luna added another layer to a relationship I already adore. It also gave us more Cade, and honestly, Cade and Damien together are absolutely priceless. Their interactions never fail to make me smile.

The men behind us leave, but the name stays with me.  The wolf whisperer.
