I loved absolutely everything about this book. From Lila to Tiernan to Lila’s brothers, to Tiernan’s sister, every single character added something unforgettable.
Following Lila as she experienced the world for the first time was incredible. Every time she saw or learned something new, my heart ached for what she’d missed and swelled with joy for what she was finally getting to feel.
Tiernan’s past was terrifying to uncover, but seeing him fall so hard for Lila was breathtaking. Each small shift, every protective moment, every crack in his armor, was a transformation I couldn’t look away from.
Their relationship, while not perfect, at the start, grew in a way that reflected who they were. Thinking about their moments together still gives me tingles. The connection, the longing, the innocence they both possessed, it’s the kind of romance that stays with you.
Lila’s brothers, especially Enzo, were such a joy to read about. And Tierney? Her personality was top notch, she didn't give crap to Achilles, yet unbelievably gentle with Lila.
This is one of those stories I wish I could erase from my mind just to experience all over again. The plot, the characters, the arcs, the dialogue, the resolution, every part was perfection.
Nothing can hurt you now that I laid claim on you.
