Ryan’s banter in Bossy Wicked Prince had me so excited for this book, and it absolutely did not disappoint.
Ryan is the definition of a bachelor, so when Pippa moves in with him, I immediately felt for her. She’s such a genuinely sweet girl, suddenly thrown into his messy apartment and very aware of the many girls who came before her. It was hard not to root for her from the start.
But watching Ryan’s side of the story unfold had me giggling with glee. I love a man who pretends to be tough and unaffected when, deep down, he’s already a goner. His protective side sneaks out more and more the longer he’s around Pippa, and every moment of it was spectacular.
My absolute favorite part is when his walls finally come crashing down. When that happens to Ryan, it feels like a full-on fist-pump celebration, so satisfying and so worth the wait. And seeing Nate step in to defend Pippa? That made me extra gooey, especially knowing how grumpy he usually is.
The rest of the friend group was just as fantastic, and I loved every interaction between them. This book was fun, swoony, and full of moments that made me smile the entire way through. I received this as an ARC and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
My heart's on the table. It's yours - I'm all in.
