My Perfect Boss - Mercy Ashes

This was such a fun, quick read. I did have a few moments where I wanted more details or found myself asking questions, but honestly that just made me more excited for where this novella series is going.

Jasper’s jealousy kicking in so quickly was one of my favorite parts. He’s known Harlow for years, but it only took one note to completely shift everything for him. From that point on, every interaction seemed to spark some kind of reaction in him, and it was so entertaining to watch.

Harlow’s character stood out in such a strong way. The fact that she had protected him their entire professional relationship was so astonishing and showed just how much he meant to her in return.  So much so that she kept things from him instead of asking for help.

Jasper’s friends were amazingly fantastic.  They are a true “boys’ club” but they respect Harlow and its clear they would do anything for her. This one was quick, fun, and full of those little moments that stick with you, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where the series goes next.  I received this book as an ARC and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.

I can't believe it took me having a fake tantrum over a note to realize how I really feel for her.
