This story started with Caterina running from her engagement… and ended somewhere I never could have predicted.
Enzo’s intense affection for Caterina is immediate and overwhelming . He doesn’t hide how he feels, and that kind of devotion is powerful. He was patient because he wanted to maintain his honor. He never rushed anything with her, even when things around them began to change.
The plot went far deeper than I expected. What began as one situation slowly unraveled into a tangled web that kept expanding. Every layer revealed something new. And the side characters weren’t just background noise. Each of them had a purpose and played a necessary role in moving the story forward. Nothing felt forced. Everyone’s involvement mattered.
And no matter who it was, Enzo protected them all the same. That level of loyalty and dedication says everything about his character.
Now I’m left needing to know what happens and how they handle the next stage. Because if this book proved anything, it’s that nothing is ever simple.
She is already undoing me. Unraveling me seam by seam. And I am allowing it.
