This book had everything I was hoping for: hilarious banter, sizzling tension, and just the right amount of spice. I was hooked from the very first page.

The tension between Gemma and Max was everything. Their chemistry was undeniable, and the spice was done so well — I was fully living for it. There’s just something about a billionaire romance that gets me every time. An MMC who would do absolutely anything for the FMC? Yes, please. And Max spoiling Gemma? As he should.

Gemma does have trust issues, but I loved watching her slowly open herself up and work through those demons. Seeing her growth made their connection even more satisfying, and I really enjoyed watching them fall in love. I could feel the emotions and frustration pouring off the page.

I’ve followed Tierney on TikTok for a while, and getting to read her work after hearing her reviews felt like seeing the personality behind the screen come to life. I’m definitely intrigued and already excited for Anna’s love story next. I received this as an ARC from NetGalley and this reflects my honest opinion.

But I can't bear knowing I lost her because we were both too afraid to fight for love.
