Out and about with no place in mind
Enjoying the summer sun in her eyes
She sneaks by the river and crouches in the weeds
Watching the scene unravel with time
A man and a woman are together this day
Standing on the rocks in the river
Water was splashing , laughter was sounding
Sweet nothings being said out loud
The man had a ring wrapped around his finger
The woman had sunburn emblazoned on her skin
Lips embracing and hands exploring
Not long until they end up entwined
It didn’t take long until the deed was done
The man did not plan to stick around
The woman reached out for him to stay
but soon after she was struck by a hand
She looked on as the woman was down
Held by the man she loved
Still as stone the woman lay on the rocks
The man drove his car fast away
Whispers came as she walked down the street
The woman was no where to be seen
The man walked around like a big shot in town
Enjoying his days in peace
The circumstantial situation couldn’t lead to blame
So on with his days he went
But she knew the truth as she had seen it
There was no doubt he needed to pay
Planning for many days and nights
She finally picked the one
Snuck into his house and ended his life
All while he slept next to his wife
As she ran away she made her way to the grave
Visiting the woman who perished
Knowing that vengeance served as justice
For the woman whose life was taken away
No regrets surmount in her mind
Everyone knows he deserved it
Bravery found her before e’ryone else
So she was the one to do it
