craft year end recap

As the year comes to a close, I find myself reminiscing about the crafty journey I embarked on in the past months. While each one holds a special place in my heart, some of them were simply too unique to be compared. So, instead of ranking them in the traditional sense, I thought it would be fun to give them some "award names" to celebrate their individuality and significance.

Most Visible Craft: The AJH Door Hanger

There's something special about seeing your own creation every day. The AJH door hanger has a prime spot on my office door, greeting me each time I step into my workspace. Its constant presence has made it the most visible and cherished of my creations.

Most Fun Crafting Adventure: The "Welcome to Our Home" Sign

Crafting isn't just about the end result; it's also about the journey. The "Welcome to Our Home" sign brought laughter and challenge into my creative process. Utilizing my trusty Cricut and brainstorming innovative ideas added a dash of humor and creativity to the crafting experience.

Most Time-Consuming Masterpiece: The Diamond Art Tray

Patience truly is a virtue when it comes to crafting. The diamond art tray project tested my patience as I painstakingly placed each diamond art piece. The result was worth every moment spent on it, but it certainly claimed the title of the most time-consuming project of the year.

The Epitome of Beauty: Hanging Door Signs for Our Mothers

Crafting can be a way to express love and appreciation. The hanging door signs I crafted for our mothers stand out as the most beautiful creations of the year. The blend of vibrant colors, delicate ribbon, and charming flowers transformed them into exquisite tokens of affection.

The Brain-Teaser: Ghostbuster Signs

Crafting often involves more than just physical work; it engages the mind as well. The Ghostbuster signs project challenged me to think critically. Achieving accurate proportions, intricate drawings, and the right colors required careful consideration, earning it the title of the craft that demanded the most thinking.

As I look back on these projects, I'm filled with a sense of accomplishment, creativity, and gratitude. Crafting has been my source of joy and relaxation throughout the year, and I can't wait to see where my creative journey takes me in the year ahead.
