pen review year end recap

As we wrap up 2023, I couldn't help but reflect on the pen reviews I've conducted over the past several months. Each pen brought its own unique flair to the writing experience, and while there were no "bad" pens, there were certainly favorites that stood out.

Let's start with the least favorite among the pens I've reviewed - the Paperage Part 2. Now, don't get me wrong; there was nothing inherently wrong with this pen. The neon and pastel choices just didn't resonate with my taste. But remember, pen preferences are subjective, and what didn't suit me might be perfect for someone else.

Moving on to the most unique pen I encountered during my journey - the Writech. This pen brought a distinctive, rustic charm to my writing. While I appreciated its individuality, I couldn't overlook the occasional choppiness when writing, which left unsightly white spots on the page.

Now, let's talk about the pen that won the award for the best coverage - the Crayola Take Note. Not only did this pen offer an incredible array of colors and shades, but the way it wrote on paper was simply exceptional. It flowed smoothly, leaving behind vibrant and consistent lines.

Finally, I had not one but two overall favorites that I couldn't resist mentioning. First up is the Pen and Gear pens. These pens boasted bright and bold colors, and their coverage was truly impressive. Second among my top picks is the Bic Gelocity. What set these pens apart for me was the additional color options available. They glided effortlessly across the page, offering a smooth writing experience with bold and vibrant ink.

While preferences may vary, there's a pen out there for everyone, from those who crave bold and colorful options to those who appreciate a touch of rustic charm. As we welcome the new year, don't forget to explore new writing tools and find the one that resonates with you the most.
